4TH OF JULY

let freedom ring
Independence Day is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. This day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals,  picnics, concerts, family reunions, political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the national day of the United States.
The Declaration of Independence was drafted and presented to congress by the Committee of Five.  This committee consisted of Roger Sherman, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and Robert Livingston.  The Declaration was a statement that announced that the thirteen American colonies then at war with Great Britain were now independent states, and thus no longer a part of the British Empire.

So on behalf of the La Bella Dolce fam have a rockin' 4th of July!

Be safe. Have fun. Be FAB *muah*
